We've booked our flight and lodging for our honeymoon!!!! We're off to Sonoma, CA - wine country in mid-November. We can't wait....

Beyond Overdue...
Hey everyone!!!
108 days to go! (that's a little less than 4 months)
Life has been kind of hectic for us lately. A trip to Arizona for Cam's volleyball tournament (they won bronze in their division), camping, and helping with my cousin's wedding has kept us busy for the last couple of months.
We hope everyone received their Save the Date postcards. Apologies to those who had to pay a little extra to receive them!
As for the wedding plans - a lot of our ideas are now becoming reality - making tons of purchases - earning miles!! We've also decided on taking a trip to Sonoma, CA (WINE COUNTRY) for our honeymoon, so we are open to any ideas or suggestions you all might have.
Cam and I will also be creating a website soon with all the wedding details!

Updates
Hi Everyone!
Sorry it's been so long. Work has been crazy for the past three weeks and will continue to be crazy until May 14th, so I haven't been able to do a whole lot of planning and a whole lot of blogging.
Cam posted some photos of our second visit to Molii Gardens and our cake tasting at Cake Works. Delicious lilikoi cake!!!! We still have lots to plan, but after the 14th, we should have more free time.
As for the honeymoon - we are looking into going to Napa/Sonoma for 5 days/4 nights in mid-November. We're both excited - sleeping in, hiking, biking, wine tasting and FOOD!
Most of you probably received your Save the Dates by now. SO SORRY TO THE KAILUA FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! For some insane reason the Kailua Post Office decided to charge our Kailua guests an extra $0.36 - why??? Because the address label was turned vertical. I guess they were too lazy to turn the postcard.
Anyways - back to the grind. Hopefully we'll have time to post this coming weekend. If not, we'll see you after the 14th!

Site Visit
We visited the wedding site with the fam to take some measurements of the grounds. Doing this gives a better idea of how to arrange the ceremony and reception areas on the day of. For now enjoy these photos:

New Wedding Date
Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Well, the new news is that Cameron and I decided to move up the wedding date to October 23, 2010! That's 201 days to go! AAAHHH, haha. We are totally up for the challenge and so excited. Planning is moving along. MUST START BOOKING VENDORS ASAP! Still stuck in a few areas but we'll push through. WISH US LUCK and save the dates will be out by the end of the month! Have a terrific week all!

Save the Dates
Happy Monday everyone!
First off, I am going to make a promise to you all that I will post at least ONCE A WEEK. I visit my favorite blogs every morning and get frustrated when nothing new has been posted!
Week of March 15, 2010: SAVE THE DATES
So I researched some ideas during lunch and found the perfect idea for Save the Dates - photobooth pics and magnets. I saw this couple browsing the internet - they seem like a fun couple - and they immediately reminded me of me and Cam. So, our guests get these awesome, fun pictures of me and Cam - how and where do they keep it?? On their fridge of course with a cool looking handmade magnet!
Can't wait to make some magnets!!!

Rings
Hi Everyone,
Wow - it's been awhile since my last post. Work keeps me really busy around this time of year, so it leaves me no time for planning. Good news is that Cam and I went to see Russell, our jeweler at the Diamond Specialist, last week Saturday to talk about our wedding bands. We actually came in UNDER BUDGET with them! I love how we're saving in every area so far. Cameron tried his on and could barely get it off - muahaha, j/k! I don't know when my next post will be, but I will try to update more with my mobile blogger app.
I have a lunch date with my best friend Jaysa this Saturday. I'm excited to catch up and to talk about music for the wedding - she is the most amazing playlist maker - if that's what you call them. She gave me the name of the DJ we're going to book - Wonderland Productions - also VERY affordable at $450 for the night. Jaysa is the music queen - I'm totally taking her advice on this one, especially when wedding DJ's are around $1000 now!

Moli'i Gardens - Site Visit Photos
Happy Aloha Friday all!
I'm finally getting to posting the pictures we took from the site visit to Moli'i Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. The site has three main areas: 1) the lower area by the water, 2) the large grassy near the pavilion, and 3) the pavilion. The space has a lot of potential.
This is a small house they built for the movie "You, Me and Dupree." The house doesn't have electricity, but we can still use it... Perhaps cocktails and pupus??? Or where the bridal party can chill out before the ceremony...
This hill starts up by the pavilion and goes down to the water area... a nice walk down the "isle" to the ceremony site...

There are stairs coming from the top pavilion area, but you can see that in the previous post I had about Moli'i...

The Chosen One
Happy Thursday everyone! GREAT NEWS... We booked our photographer!!! We were really excited to ask our friend and previous co-worker from Student Housing, Dallas Nagata, if she would be able to shoot our wedding. She said YES! Below are samples of her work - wedding and non-wedding. She’s very talented. What’s even more amazing is that she has a variety of cameras, so we’ll definitely get some great photographs.

Happy New Year!
Hi Everyone,
Sorry it's been so long since we last posted. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. Our engagement party on December 5th was a blast! We will be posting pictures soon.
Now that we are officially in 2010, our next item on the wedding agenda is to secure a venue and date! We have Hale Koa, perhaps Shriner's Beach Club and Molii Gardens lined up to visit.
Any other suggestions??
