Moli'i Gardens - Site Visit Photos

Happy Aloha Friday all!

I'm finally getting to posting the pictures we took from the site visit to Moli'i Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. The site has three main areas: 1) the lower area by the water, 2) the large grassy near the pavilion, and 3) the pavilion. The space has a lot of potential.

This is a small house they built for the movie "You, Me and Dupree." The house doesn't have electricity, but we can still use it... Perhaps cocktails and pupus??? Or where the bridal party can chill out before the ceremony...

This hill starts up by the pavilion and goes down to the water area... a nice walk down the "isle" to the ceremony site...

There are stairs coming from the top pavilion area, but you can see that in the previous post I had about Moli'i...

The Chosen One

Happy Thursday everyone! GREAT NEWS... We booked our photographer!!! We were really excited to ask our friend and previous co-worker from Student Housing, Dallas Nagata, if she would be able to shoot our wedding. She said YES! Below are samples of her work - wedding and non-wedding. She’s very talented. What’s even more amazing is that she has a variety of cameras, so we’ll definitely get some great photographs.

Hawaii Bridal Expo

We're headed to the Hawaii Bridal Expo at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall today! Hopefully we'll get some great ideas and walk away with some freebies. I will be posting any ideas/vendors we're interested in when we get back. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Molii Gardens

Happy Aloha Friday everyone. Just an update: we will be checking out a ceremony/reception venue tomorrow morning - Molii Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. I've posted a few pictures that I found online of other weddings there. We'll take some pictures and keep you posted! Have a wonderful weekend.

Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it's been so long since we last posted. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. Our engagement party on December 5th was a blast! We will be posting pictures soon.

Now that we are officially in 2010, our next item on the wedding agenda is to secure a venue and date! We have Hale Koa, perhaps Shriner's Beach Club and Molii Gardens lined up to visit.

Any other suggestions??
